What was the best surprise you ever received?

Mr P spending several months and a lot of goodwill tracking down a comic to finsh my collection..I kept wondering why my local comic shops couldn't get me a copy..they were all in on the surprise..

1st my lovely dd, when i had the ultrasound for her to find out if she was a boy or girl they told me i was having a boy, well shes a girl, and then 2nd is my ds having him before christmas

My favourite surprise was given to me from my dad. I had been asking for tickets to see the phantom of the opera for years. I asked for the tickets for birthdays, christmas, and any other gift giving holiday. I asked for many years, and each time was disappointed. Then one day in July I was helping my mom in the kitchen and he came in and said he had got the tickets. It was a surprise because it was out of the blue. There were no holidays, it wasn't my birthday, and it was for no reason. Best surprise ever!

So many fantastic surprises!

My kids are both my favourite suprises. We didn't find out sex with DD and I was over the moon when they handed me a baby girl (I sooooo wanted a girl). And then when the tech told me I was having a boy (#2) I was so happy.

As for material items, I think my Coach purse would be my favourite.
