Lawtons has some BOGO sales this week. At Lawtons, they ring in each item at half price. I got 4 cans of mixed nuts at $1.24 a can, and 4 packs of Ganong mints at 74 cents each.

The flyer suck IMO this week but I did buy $400 in GCs from Sobeys so I could get 190 airmiles.

Honeycrisp apples are on at Sobeys and Superstore this week for about $2 a pound, which is quite good. I bought two earlier this evening - because to be honest, I've never tried them! They're SO big and usually at least $2.50 a pound. Even at that price, two apples was over $2.
Another fairly good Sobeys deal was fresh mushrooms, the 1.5 pound cartons are $3.97. I LOVE mushrooms, I buy that big carton nearly every week at Costco for the same price. But I was at Sobeys and had $200 in GCs (did the same thing as ccmp to get the air miles, only $200 for me though), so decided to buy them there. They rang up $6.99! So scored a SCOP on my mushrooms, although it required me waiting in line at customer service, they will taste all the better since they were free. I hate that about Sobeys, that the customer service desk is also a five item or less checkout. If they screw up or you need to return something, you wait in line with all the people buying stuff.
On the GC front, I bought $200 in GCs, got 95 Air Miles, and used them to buy my groceries as well as some Subway and NSLC GCs. Overall, not bad!Last edited by Zonny; Fri, Nov 16th, 2012 at 07:10 PM.
