This coming Sat/Sun , Toronto Zoo is celebrating community day , so they are having 5 bucks admission to the zoo for everyone.

Normally the entrance fee is pretty expensive , so its a good deal

They also have 20 % off on concessions and merchandise sold inside the zoo on these 2 days

You can even buy the discounted tkts online starting tomorrow ...the 5 bucks price will show up tomorrow for those 2 days.

    Not really .

Usually people go there during summer with their kids when the schools are off and there is more day light and its warm.

Late fall and Winter when it gets dark early and its cold , not many people go there ..so its not that busy .

+1 we have a membership, not very busy this time of year I'm sure this will attract a lot of people but the zoo is extremely large and even on a busy summer weekend its not that bad.

Last year on cheap day it was packed in the pavilions because it was so cold. They also pulled about half of the animals into "summer homes" because of the temperatures.

The weather is supposed to feel like -5C with 25 km/h NW winds this weekend, according to the weather channel. Dress warmly!

    We're undecided as yet....
