Easiest lazy recipe for me - I usually cook 3/4 of a 900g package for a side at a meal.
When pasta is drained, add 3-4 Tbsp margarine, can of Campbell's mushroom soup, about 1/3 can hot water (or more, depending upon how thick you want the sauce to be), salt and pepper, lots of garlic powder and mix well. YUM!

An easy recipe adapted from Patricia Well's Trattoria Cookbook:
Bacon - 6 slices, cut in pieces
1 small jar of marinated artichoke hearts
1 cup plum tomatoes (fresh or canned)
1/2 cup Parsley, chopped
Grated parmesan - to taste
1 pound of rigatoni pasta
Cook pasta according to package direction. Drain and set aside in a big bowl.
In a large fry pan, cook bacon until crisp. Remove to drain on paper towel. Remove fat from pan except for a couple of table spoons. Drain marinade from artichokes directly in the frying pan and add tomatoes and drained artichokes and cook until hot. Add salt and pepper to taste. Poor sauce over pasta, add parsley and mix well. Serve immediately with a sprinkling of parmesan cheese.
This isn't a typical pasta sauce that will smother the pasta. On the contrary, it's a "dry" dish with bits of tomato sauce and artichoke adhering to the pasta. It adapts well to being loosy goosey. Add more bacon or replace with pancetta. IMO, the more cheese the better.

I am a pasta addict .... it doesn't help that I stocked up on it when WM had it for $1 and I finally found the 75c coupons and some $1 coupons
#1)
Toss cherry or any small tomatoes and some garlic in some EVOO and S&P and roast in a 400 degree oven until garlic is golden and tomatoes have slightly burst*** Start garlic a few minutes before the tomatoes.
Cook pasta and reserve a cup of the starchy cooking water
Drain pasta and return to pot. Add Boursin cheese and cooking water until cheese is melted and the consistency you prefer.
Add roatsed tomatoes and garlic and CHOW DOWN!
*you can also sub sudried tomatoes if you want
Another thing I do is prepare pasta. Add butter, S&P and some parm cheese and eat. It's light and tastes really good. You can always add garlic shrimp or chicken to it.
Another one that I am dying to try is if you have lasagna noodles

My fave go to pasta recipe is frying sliced sausages (we like hot italian) with onions and garlic. While thats cooking, boil your pasta and drain. Layer the sausage mixture, the noodles, a can of pasta sauce and cheese in a casserole dish. Bake for like 1/2 an hour. Delish!

I use spaghettini for stir fry.
In a deep frying pan I cook tenderized steak cut in small pieces with some soya sauce & chopped garlic, then add chopped green pepper, mushrooms, onions & bean sprouts. Once cooked till softened, I add in cooked & drained spaghettini with more soya sauce to coat - stir it well. Then a bit of water with some corn starch in it to thicken any liquid.

This was (and I need to go back to it) my go-to lunch for years. It's basically an inverted pasta salad - lots of veggies, not so much pasta.
Pasta of your choosing (I generally did penne, but any small pasta will do)
peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion (if you choose),
cooked or drained chick peas
feta, garlic, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

My grandmother and mom used to make this all the time - and it sounds semi-gross, but honestly, don't knock it until you try it.
1 box of macaroni, cooked and drained (or any small pasta - but it has to be elbow macaroni for me)
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
2 cans of tomato soup (undiluted)
mix it all up - and ta da, comfort food a la my Mom's fam

I love making pasta bakes which are pretty versatile and easy to use whatever is on hand.
Cook the pasta to almost done (small pasta), add a can of sauce, peppers, tomatoes, a little bit of cheese, chicken/sausage. Toss it all together. Put in a 9x13 pan (better surface area so more crispy bits). Add some cheese to the top, through it in the oven and bake until the top is crispy and it's bubbling.

Pasta one of my fast and favorite meal. I always used to keep pasta packet for my laziness. Just boil the pasta in water then fry it with tomato sauce, onion, garlic, and with some vegetables and some salt. It's too delicious. You can try the ready made pasta also available at market.
