So the location near my previous apt was open since 7 a.m.They were also handing out $10 GC to everybody.and when I went inside ,I asked for a scratch card from sustomer service and ...........scratched right there..It was a $10 one,I could not hold my excitement, told her to hold the line ,and bought a rice cooker .

Sounds like you hit the jackpot today. So there is no min purchase to use the $5?

Edit: also, could you use multiple $5 cards on a purchase? Eg, 48 cards on a $20 item? Or does it say one per customer on that one also?

That is what I am wondering as well....when you get the $5 Boxing week coupon (not the one people are saying 'may' be in the box of chocolates), the one you should get for Can. Tire specifically, to use during Boxing week. Does it say anything about a min. purchase amount to use it....ie....save $5 when you spend $10 or more...???

Is Canadian Tire giving a coupon for $5 savings plus the Lindor chocolate? Has anyone checked if there is another coupon inside the Lindor chocolate box?

Just wondering as last year our CT gave the $5 coupon PLUS the box which had another $5 inside so it was actually $10 savings.... (each $5 had to be used in a different transaction of course)

Got 3 more cards.. all chocolates.

And I think I've finally mastered the tape method lol... After sticking on the tape, you have to look at the card from an angle to see it! Would've been nice if I had figured that out before I ruined the $10 card lol

OK - I've tried the tape trick and I am not getting it, LOL. Don't want to ruin it in case it's $5000! LOL

I got only chocolate and no $5 coupon. I had two of the scratch cards. The first one did not even look knew about the coupon and looked surprised. So I specifically asked the second cashier about coupon, She said its scratch card for $10 off but you (I) did not win it and there was no $5 off . Am I missing some thing or my store is just playing dumb?

I believe the $5 coupon is INSIDE the chocolate box....the cashiers probably don't even know CT doesn't seem to have the most 'informed' employees!
