I just wanted to share the Old Navy promo on Saturday. Spend $40 and get a free Super Mario Wii U game. Doors open at 7am.

I would love to know what the line ups were like. 7:35 here in halifax, I am sure its long gone by now - but I find it silly that people would line up more than even 1 hour for this unless they really have nothing better to do, and are insomniacs! If I lived right next door, and I was up anyway, no kids, no responsibilities, I'd probably have a few of my friends over and get this. However, for the general mom&dad looking to pick up a game for an xmas present, it seems unlikely they will get one.
To each there own though - I suppose other people may not feel the same way as me - but saving 50$ is not worth the hastle! plus, I save enough shoppers points that I'll redeem for the game instead
Much easier that way!

I got to the store at 5:45 and there was a few people in cars and no one at the doors. They had 48 games. At 6:30 they came out and handed out the bracelets. The doors opened at 7:00. I was back in my van by 7:30.

I lined up at the Old Navy Dartmouth store at 5am and it opened at 7am. I was #8 in line, but I took a beach chair to sit in so I was able to nap until the store opened. I got the bracelet, used a "Spend $50, Save $10" birthday coupon, subtotal came to $51, applied coupon, so the total came to $47.15 with taxes and got the game for free. I then sold the game on Kijiji for $50. I do this every year because heck, it's basically free clothing then.
