Hello everyone I have been looking over this site for a while but I am looking to step up my couponing in the new year. I started couponing a year ago, after realizing how much I was throwing away every month. Our area has been hit hard with layoffs the last few years and i have to find a way to reduce my monthly bills to help offset the lack of income. I would love to get into trading, but am taking it one step at a time. I also live within 1km of 5 stores, plus shoppers so I can stock up on everything. I would also like to learn to price match better avoid unless gas and time wasting. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And adopt a newbie program??? Anyone tried it? Or have any feedback? Thank you on behalf of all newbies for the countless efforts to make people like me have a better life! I can't wait to start really saving!

As far as adopt a newbie, I was both a newbie and an adoptive parent and it is a great program. There are lots of little questions that you wonder but worry about asking publicly and it is great to have a sounding board when you are new.
We also have a blog series running for newbies at the moment with helpful tips and tricks to saving money, you can get to the blog using the green toolbar at the top of the page

Hi, I'm also new to this website and have been couponing now for only a few months. I have got some good deals and have managed to save 60% of my purchase within a month of doing coupons. Why didn't I think of this a year ago?? Anyway, I have found that my FAV place to go for one stop shopping is WAL-MART. WHY?? Because for one they price match ANY flyer, 2. They take printed coupons (this saves you from figuring out if the store your going to takes printed coupons) and 3. Walmart has even been pricing their products to match the prices in the other stores flyers anyway. SOO I found you don't even need your flyer at the time of checkout.
I've taken 5 flyers with me and price match everything I needed and never had a problem Hope this helps!!
