I just watched this on the news this morning and can't help but wonder what is this world coming to. Why on earth would a store manager stoop to this level. It's obvious the manager has something going on and the coupons sent her over the edge. So beware, if you use coupons and your cashier or the manager is having an off day, watch your back.

Interesting story, sad in many ways, the comments were quite personal eh Natalka? Oh well, using coupons at the Dollar Tree store was obviously a lucrative way to save and the Couponer knew her stuff, too bad the manager didn't.

I had posted this before in the Extreme Couponing thread.I thought it was terrible besides according a lady who was on Extreme Couponing Jane Franco the Dollar Tree only allows customers to use two coupons.So instead of attacking a customer the manager could have calmly explained the two coupon coupon policy.
Bad, Bad and some of those comments are so ugly......were is the world going????????????.........................:-)

Thats unbelievable & yes Natalka the comments underneath were rude.I wasnt going to read them untill I read your post.The money is not coming out of the managers pocket & she must be mental to attack someone over them.Thats an nasy red eye the customer recieved & busted lip.Crazy.

I don't know which I'm more shocked at, the incident or the some of the words spoken in the comments. Holy smokes, are we really in 2012? Could people really be so ignorant and crass? It really makes me aware of how fortunate I am to live where I do.
I cannot believe the manager hit her! But setting that aside, what about this in that article: "Jennifer Hill says they had a similar run in with the same manager last week." Now if I almost got punched by a manager the week before, I certainly wouldn't show up at the same store with a stack of coupons on black Friday. Though Jennifer is not to blame for getting hit, she must have known there was going to be trouble.
She should have stayed away from the store until after she complained to Dollar Tree about the manager's previous week behavior.Why would it be busy on Black Friday at Dollar Tree the prices don't change.Quote:

Oh my goodness! I'm just as shocked at the comments on the bottom as I am the article. I haven't been the best at biting my tongue lately, I was very close to sending her a not-so-nice FB message, fortunately for her she has it blocked.
Wowza....some people will go postal over anything. It's good they caught the assault on tape or the manager would be lying her face off and head office would sweep the whole thing under the rug :neutral:
