Does anyone know anything else besides calamine lotion to help little children ages 2&4. Any tips would be great.

    I found this site.
    http://www.home-remedies-for-you.com...icken-Pox.html

Halfway down the page has Home Remedies for Chicken Pox.

Hope they are feeling better soon!

My 11 year old daughter is almost over her chicken pox. You can try giving the kids a bath with "Soothing bath treatment" sold at shoppers drug mart. It is an oatmeal bath. I think any store would have a similar version. Look for the words Natural Colloidal Oatmeal Bath. It semed to work for my daughter. Don't worry too much, they will get over it. Good luck

Me being a real cheapy, I just put oatmeal in the blender and made a fine powder out of it and though that in warm bath water. I also made a paste out of it and put it on the kids. That way I didn't have to worry if they tried to eat it.

i had both of my kids vacinated so i didn't have to go through any of this. i still remember having it for the 3rd time. i would really go with the oatmeal bath and take something like benedryl. it really helped me to take the benedryl i could get a good sleep
