I went to redeem at 11:20pm Sunday night, and after filling my cart, was told by the manager that there was a system problem, and it was only letting people redeem at normal levels. He told me to try an SDM down the street. So i went to that SDM and they had the same problem. Anybody else have this problem?

Oh my goodness~! I knew redemption weekend coudn't come off without some sort of glitch......sorry this happened to you.

I did one just after 10 with no problems.

as long as you did do the redemption I should think they would just add the extra points back on??/?/? I would def call.

the problem is that it wouldn't be extra points missing, it would be 40$ missing... IE - they still use 95k points, but lost 40$ out of pocket! I would be so pissed if it took me a while filling my cart. I doubt SDM is going to start cutting cheques.
I am curious, did you redeem the points anyway (the_rock)?

Well I had done one redemption at a different store at about 10:45pm and it worked fine. They didn't have some of the stuff I wanted, and i find each store has a few unique items, so I went to another store down the street to do another redemption. I heard a customer complaining to the manager when I got in but didn't know what it was about and kept doing my shopping. It was a bit annoying that nobody told me when I walked in, as i spent a good 20 minutes going through the store filing my cart. Only reason the manager even told me was because I asked him if i could pay for something on redemption that was out of stock and then pick it up when they get their stock in. I see on FB that a couple other ppl had the same problem, so will follow up with what happens. The manager said "you can still redeem but you'll only get $170".

I wonder if it was a time zone thing? Went to mine (in BC) at 10 - they told me almost as soon as I walked in the door that I may have to put my purchase aside and they would honour it tomorrow when they figured out how... 20 minutes later they told me they were just going to promo $40 off my purchase. Redeemed around 11:20, easy peasy, with giant handfuls of samples from the beauty department. I love my Shoppers.
