THE SOLUTION TO THE ONE MISSING SOCK
SOCK DUSTERS
Turn them inside out (so the fuzzy side is out) and your hand in the sock. And go! It’s as easy as that. They pick up all of the dust, dog hair and small specks of debris. And the best part is, you just throw them in the wash when you’re done and your dust socks are good to go again.
As another tip, when you wash and dry your dust socks, don’t use fabric softener or dryer sheets. The added static build up helps the socks pick up even more dust.JOIN NOW WIN BIG in the Survivor Pool starting in the Spring

As an alternative to buying kitchen compost bags- when making your own compost isn't an option, microwave popcorn bags are compostable and fairly durable so i have started using them as a liner for my kitchen compost bin. Given that I don't eat that much popcorn and I have a good amount of compost weekly I also have a compost bowl that sits on my counter and gets emptied daily (which works fine in the winter since scraps freeze in the compost bin once tossed). I have also used paper bags lined with used parchment which also works well.
Cheers,
Snip.

When I make garlic spare-ribs or meatballs, I freeze the remainder of the sauce in a ziploc bag, saves alot of $
When my margarine containers are empty in throw in some hot noodles or veggies to get what's left.....amazing how much there really left in there2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

I've done that too! I always save my margarine containers, or as I call them, my finest italian tupperware!
