Really, I'm not trying to be mean but doesn't that baby look a little " off"? I can't put my finger on it but there is just something......
All babies do look a bit "off" when they're first born. I don't think my LO started looking like a cute baby for several months afterwards. :-) But, when you're a new mom, you don't notice and she's gorgeous. Two years later, you start looking through the pictures and think your baby was a lot more red faced than you remembered. :-)
Maybe it's all that rolling around in a big tub of warm water for nine months and their skin must acclimatize. ;)
Thanks Sweet Sparrow. I just kept looking at her like huh?
Charlotte's christening is today at 4:30 p.m.

Godparents - Sophie Carter (friend of the Duchess), James Meade (friend of Prince William from their time at Eton), Thomas van Straubenzee (one of Prince William's oldest school friends, who is married to the Duke of Northumberland's daughter Melissa Percy), Adam Middleton (Duchess of Cambridge’s first cousin, and the son of Michael Middleton’s brother Richard), Laura Fellowes (Prince William’s cousin, a niece of Princess Diana).
As well as the godparents and their spouses, the guests at the christening will be:
The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, Michael, Carole, Pippa and James Middleton. And that's it.
So with the Duke and Duchess and their children, just 22 people will be at the service, not including the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Unfortunately Prince Harry won't be able to make it today for the christening.
The 30-year-old royal is spending the summer travelling in Africa doing conservation and charity work.
St Mary Magdalene Church, the venue for today. It is certainly a special place for the royal family.
The Queen and the Royal Family regularly worship at St Mary Magdalene
The church is where Charlotte’s late grandmother, Princess Diana, was christened in 1961.

Princess Charlotte will be christened in the font that was commissioned for the baptism of Princess Victoria more than 170 years ago.
She will be baptised in the Lily Font, which stands at 17 inches high, is made from silver, and is so valuable it is usually kept alongside the Crown Jewels in the Tower of London.

Princess Charlotte will wear a replica of the Royal Christening Robe, as the previous garment has been preserved.
