The Duchess of Cambridge's last solo engagement was launching the Royal Princess cruise ship. Her last offical engagement will be Trooping the Colour on Saturday.

At least Katherine won't have to give birth in front of the country's noblewoamn and officers of the court like many of her pre-decessors as wife to the heir to the throne.

Intereastingly..the last time there were 3 heirs in the direct line of succession was under Queen Victoria with her son the future Eward VII. his son Geroge V and his son the future Edward VIII.

I heard Diana gave birth naturally to both boys. I'm assuming Kate will too.

With Kate 5'10" and William 6'3" I hope she doesn't have a big baby with those slim hips. Do you think that this is going to be a natural birth?

I'm tall and fluffy, but didn't know until I was in labour that I had a narrow pelvis, and the baby wouldn't go down - so there's just no telling by looking at the outside body.

I'm sure which ever option Katherine chooses or is advised to follow by her doctors is going to draw criticism from some people.

I'm 5'11, DH is 6'5. I have suitably wide hips for childbirth, but DS chose not to come out that way - thankfully, as he was 10.5 pounds! Labour just didn't go far for me.

Back to the original topic, Kate looks lovely with her wee bump.
