Moving Company

I've been asked if I know a good moving company in the Ottawa area, and I don't.. so I was hoping you guys could give me an answer?

Do you know a good moving company, who's also decently priced?

I've used Boyd twice in the past because I was getting a good rate through my work and were very close to their estimate.

I've never used Adams_Moving_Company but I've heard good things about them.

The best thing you friend can go is call and ask them for an estimate. Someone comes to your house and based on what is being moved, they'll tell you how much it costs. The move the company has do to, the more expensive it is. What kind of dwelling the person is moving from/to will also have an impact. For example, if the the movers need to use an elevator in an apartment building compared to a bungalow where the truck can park right in the driveway. Time of year also plays a factor, with May and June being the most expensive, I think.
