Maxi in Lasalle not price matching Loblaws flyer

I was at Maxi's in Lasalle and tried to price match with a Loblaws flyer - they told me no we are not pricing matching Loblaws or Provigo anymore because we are the same company - i said fine then you should have the same specials!!!

Has anyone else have this problem?

That's nonsense. I was at the Maxi the other day and they PM Maxie & cie. I said to the cashier whaaat? Aren't you the same? She said no but not to worry I would get the same specials. Said thank you but thought it was funny a bit.

I was wondering if anyone ever had an issue when using english coupons. The last time i was at maxi angrignon the cashier said,"we dont take english coupons. They need to be french too" but she then proceeded to pass them. I used the 3x bogo crystal light/mocktail. The crystal light was on liquidation for 1$ So i went back the next day dif cashier and more english coupons . No issues! I asked for rain check and she told me to see the cashier at the customer service desk. (The same cashier from day one. I asked for a raincheck for 5 boxes of honey bunches she said limit was 3 (maxi lachine gave me one for 5).

So....

1- has this occurred with anyone else?? I usually go yo maxi dollard or lachine and never have probs there

I remember her saying no to coupon + price match, when I told her the Mgr said it was fine she mentioned that what they are told to accept/not accept always seems to be changing. This is probably why there's so much confusion at that store.
