My new tank is cycled and the fish from my old tank have slowly been added. Everyone seems to be healthy and happy. I did lose one neon tetra. I've owned it for two years now, sad to see him/her die. I have black sand (35 pounds I washed lol), live plants, 4 cory catfish, 3 otocinclus algae eaters and 8 neon tetras. I plan on adding more neons and maybe a school of glowlight tetras. The photo of the whole tank looked crooked. It's just the way it came out. The tank is level
Here are the pics...

You took such care in the transfer, the tank looks great and the fish have so much room!

Thank you everyone!

This week I plan on adding some more neons. Everyone seems happy with the extra room, quite active.

Neons were always MY favourite, but somehow we had many " eaten " by bigger fish in the tank?? I forget now, but they disappeared mysteriously each day.

Lol! Thanks!
The catfish like to be with each other all the time. I have a fourth one but he/she was under the other piece of driftwood. They communicate but flipping side to side on the sand, skip along the sand, chase each other, and like to hang out with the algae eaters too.

I had an Amazon planted 220g (6ftx 2ft x2ft) tank. After several months I ended up with over 200 neons, which looked so pretty as they flittered though the plants.
And then I bought a pair of South American puffers.
My schoal of fish went from 200 to less than 20 in 3 weeks.....
Short answer : no Long answer : NOOOOOOOOOOO!
