There I am...peacefully sleeping. Then BAM....my boyfriend punches me in the mouth at 3am!! I turn over, shake the heck outta him and yell 'you punched me!!!' ARGH annoying. Lol he was apparently trying to put his arm around me.
And if that wasn't bad enough, a week later I get an elbow to the forehead at 6:30am. Seriously??? Then as soon as I settle down and am ready to fall back asleep, my alarm goes off. What a great way to start off a Monday morning.
He is the WORST person to sleep with. He snores loudly, tosses and turns, talks in his sleep and now...he's hitting me.
No wonder Lucy and Ricky slept in separate beds lol.
I love him to death but I just needed to RANT....AHHHHHHH
**Oh and he's a blanket stealer too. So I wake up in the middle of the night freezing cold and he's wrapped up nicely like a burrito. BAH**This thread is currently associated with: N/ALast edited by cheapNcheeky; Mon, Dec 10th, 2012 at 02:04 PM.

Lol!! This reminds me of when my now husband and I were dating. I had a single mattress (not even a box spring!) and a wooden milk crate beside it as my nightstand (yay student living!). Well, I pushed him over one night and he rolled off the mattress hiting his head on the crate. I was half asleep so I laughed and went right back to snoring. Later he told me he was actually in pain. Oops!
As for punching, I now punch and kick him on a regular basis...sometimes he snores like crazy and after he told me "just kick me if I snore too loudly"...I now do it with gusto. Problem is...I'm just over a hundred pounds and he's closing in on 300. It's a little hard to pack a punch and he sometimes doesn't even wake up...just snores louder! Lol.

You should get him to have a sleep study done. My hubby is a horribly restless sleeper. He suffers from Restless leg syndrome and snores so LOUDLY. It's insane. I finally had enough of it (he's been snoring since 2004!!!) and he got a sleep study done. Turns out he wakes something like 21 times an hour while sleeping. With the CPAP machine he got, no snoring, no moving and tossing, and he is so much more rested. Best thing he ever did for his health.

lol. Sorry OP but at least you have some fun stories!
DH is a sleep walker and talker. It used to drive me nuts but after 10+ years I'm used to it. Thankfully it only occurs when he's extremely tired (ie, after working a lot of OT or hard labour) or if he's been drinking a little too much (thankfully that is now so rare, unlike when we were students! lol).

My boyfriend is a sleep talk/walker too. Most times I find it hilarious what he says and does in his sleep but I have dodged a few straight arms.

I'm a blanket stealer, always have been but I also have my own blanket and sheet. Have had our own from day one with hubby. We each have our own, and it solves that problem for us.. He snores, so sometimes I punch him in my sleep, we call it a draw lol
Hopefully you'll start having peaceful sleeps soon!
