I read on another forum that the 25% coupon is applied to the full amount and is not limited to $50 max.

I am not sure what order it goes...I just thought the discount would come first...this could very well be the way it's processed.

I just bought one as well...they took the 25% off the 269.99 (so to use the coupon you are spending $75), then enviro fee, then taxes. Used $170 redemption and paid under $60 OOP. I did the math, and to wait for a 'mega' redemption (guessing $250) I would only be saving $4.75ish...it wasn't worth waiting on, as there was only one left in my town, and there is no official word on a mega redemption...just rumours right now. I went on a sure thing and paid under $5 more to get it today.

I suppose YMMV with the discount $$ cap and whether they make you purchase $75 OOP....

I greatly debated going out to get one, but decided in the end that I'd rather save that $170 redemption for something I really want. I have a laptop that works fine, so a tablet would just be a luxury that I really can do without.

pretty sure this is what it should have been. But my guess is that SDM wouldn't have programed this into the machines. Actually, when I first read the coupon, I thought you still paid tax on the 25% off, so it would have been that total + tax on 25$.
