Just so you gals both know for future attempts, use savoy cabbage
( the leaves look all curly/wrinkled , like when your hands have been in water too long)
The reason I use this type of cabbage is I never have to boil or soften ANY layer of the leaves. I use it raw just as it comes off the head. get my filling all ready and just core the head of cabbage very carefully, removing the entire center tough piece. Then you will see how nicely the layers pull away and you are ready to " wrap and roll"

Turkey alfredo flatbread! Leftover turkey chunks, microwave-steamed broccoli, a fast alfredo sauce (a bit of butter, garlic, cream cheese and milk) on a flatbread that my mom got 50% off at RCSS.
Mmmm!

That's another thing I have to look into making. I like things that are easier to make. Something with the word "lazy" in it is right up my alley!
Thanks Angela! I wrote it today and think I did okay on it, but I feel absolutely drained now. I spent so much time studying and concentrating over the past week or 2 and I feel that my brain left on vacation as soon as I walked out of the examination centre today. Congrats on finishing your last exam!! You must be sooo happy! What degree?
I never thought of this. You always have such great ideas!
Dinner tonight was a platter from a nearby restaurant. Too exhausted to cook. I think if I tried to make anything tonight I would have royally screwed it up.

I'm eating a toss salad with Italian dressing. I added a little bit of white vinegar to the dressing for some 'bite', it's amazing how you can add a little zing to salad so easily.
