Using cash is always good! However, you could check if your bank has a plan you can go on - so many electronic transactions, etc. There should be several to choose from.

Now that my husband is a senior (at our credit union, it's when you get to 60), even though I'm 10 years younger, because it's a joint account, we have no transaction fees - YAY!

You are right - joint account with a senior (e.g. mother, father, husband, wife, etc) gives you privileges of a senior account.

For some reason I can't "like" your post. But, I really like your post.

Yes.I had a plan transaction free when I was 25 years or less...Now at 27 I would check back my options when I will have time.I think I have maybe 5 free ones.

So maybe keep that account and add a PC, ING or Canadian Tire Financial account. These can be linked with your existing bank and may allow free bank to bank transfers. This increased the number of transactions that you are able to do for free, each month. Make sure the terms and conditions of each - PC, ING, CT financial meet your banking needs.

    Good question.
Metro sticks the coupon right on the product. The top part of the coupon says, "Cashier detach here". The bottom part of the coupon has the $$ amount off and a bar code on the back. The cashier rips the bottom from the top and you take the product home with the top part of the coupon attached.

The deli salads have rip and stick coupons too. When the large deli salads have bonus Air Miles + rip and stick coupons, it's great. Plus you get 2 salad dressings with the large salads.

    Good question.
Well, I learned that I did not need to do separate transactions.
I could have used Air Miles cash up to $200 per day.
    Still learning...
