Dental Implants

Hi all! Looking for anyone's experience with dental implants in the city! I am contemplating getting one done and notice there are dental offices and denturists' office that offer this service! Anyone out there with advice...experiences...word of mouth??!!

I recently got one done by Dr Cohen in Winnipeg. He is behind the Hydro building basically at Portage and route 90. Very satisfied with his work and bedside manor. My dentist office referred me there however and I didn't shop around at all...

Advice would be to check your insurance plan. I know several places allow you to change them in January each year. While implants are considered cosmetic and not covered by most plans, both Green Shields and SunLife allow you to to use your Health Spending Account towards it to offset the cost.
