Thread: Finally got a Dyson!!!!!!!!!!

Wed, Dec 19th, 2012, 04:55 PM #1
Someone was selling a BRAND new Dyson DC23 Motorhead Animal with the shrink wrap still on the box. Here is the clincher:
After some wheeling and dealing with him I got it for $280.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep in mind this particular vacuum sells for $749.99 +taxes making it $840.00. I always wanted one, but was never willing to spend the big bucks on it. Couldn't have been better timing cause my other vac just busted.
BTW, EXCELLENT vac. I highly recommend it!This thread is currently associated with: N/A

CONGRATS!!!!!!
You should come to my house and test it out. Dyson's are super nice but I can not bring myself to spend even $400 on a vacuum but for $280 I could be persuaded LOL Hubby does most of the vacuuming and he doesn't mind the one we have.

Woohoo!! What a deal!
Trust me CrazyQT they are well worth the money. I went through 4 $100 hoovers because DH thought it was a waste of money. We had a deal that if we bought a house with carpet we'd get a Dyson, afterall what is another $649 on top of a few hundred thousand . It was the best thing i've ever bought. As someone with allergies and bad asthma it is essential.

sounds like how my brother got his Dyson... can you say hot, hot, hot?
not saying you purchased knowingly stolen items, but just sounds too good to be true. And my brother did knowingly buy his stolen (for $200).Last edited by alicia; Wed, Dec 19th, 2012 at 05:44 PM.

LOL! No, this one was not stolen. It was given as an early Xmas gift a week ago or so. What happened was the guy moved a few weeks ago and the new place has no carpets in it at all and therefore the vac was not needed. (It also had the receipt taped to the box so I even seen where it was purchased).

Lucky you!!!! I have a stupid Dirt Devil that keeps breaking on me. It's taped, glue-gunned, and beaten up. And I just bought it last year
