We have a wee chip in a fiberglass tub/shower - suspect the gyproc fella dropped a putty knife and the point of it hit the fiberglass finish, just nicking the side near the hand/washcloth bar. Anyway, for those of you familiar with fiberglass, would this need to be repaired you think? And, if so, what would you use. It is such a wee chip and just anyone wouldn't notice it really. Just wondering, too, how thick the fiberglass walls generally are....this was an expensive shower -no cheap thing for sure.

I'd inquire about a repair kit. Once I happened to chat to a man who was into fiberglass autobody repair and he said each time that fiberglass got recycled, the fibers got shorter until there is a point when the fibers can no longer be recycled.
So that chip needs some attention.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
