My father gave me an unusual gift. He donated $1,000 to the Moose Jaw Humane society in my name. I find that to be a very agreeable gift!!

Lots of crafting supplies but i got it all before christmas as we were at the hobby lobby in NY so ya..lol [e6000 glue, thread cutters, yarn, floss, printed felt sheets etc etc], human body colouring book and dvd [omigod it's alot of learn AH >.<], books, tools, storage cases for tools or crafting supplies , tool bag with some tools in it, a husky tool storage wall hanger[love it], homemade maple walnut shortbread [totally worth the red face and upset stomach 2 days later lol!..thank god it's only a once a year treat], inuyasha season 1 dvd [couldn't find it anywhere and my dad found it brand new at the local vintage video game/dvd store.. only copy someone ordered and never picked up!], skyrim walkthrough book [my god it's like 4 inches thick!], quick facts for chemistry, skeletal and nervous systems, biology for dummies, chemistry for dummies [both needed for my upgrading, ], a few shirts and a sweater, winter boots and winter shoes, lots of dollar store items for class [papermate pens, legal pads, notebooks, pencils, etc].
I cleaned house this year! though most of said items I got weeks leading up to christmas but I got my tools and storage items from my dad and ma on christmas.
I like giving so everyone got tonnes of crap.. but my payment for the gifts early was to wrap everyone elses stuff.. lol.. a few hours each day and all the crap was wrapped [and trust me.. it was ALOT.. alot of little things... weird shaped things... sharp things... grrr! went thry so much tape this year]. Good news.. We finally finished off a big ass roll of wrapping paper we bought at costco in 2003.. I used it every year too! It was dual sided..and thick.. good stuff! Got a blue roll this year.. snowflakes one side and penguins [Eeeee! ^-^] on the other.. here's to another almost 10 years!

When I was a kid, my folks and I would watch A Pocketful of Miracles every year on Xmas Eve. The movie hasn't been shown in at least 10 yrs, so when I managed to find it, I was thrilled. So were my folks when they unwrapped the DVD. Now we get to continue our Xmas Eve tradition.

Family members gave me $$$, I got lots of MAC cosmetics from the MAC fairy, and basically everything I mentioned I wanted/needed throughout the year but didn't buy my BF bought for me! lol
This included a much wanted Cuisine Art waffle maker, books and kitchen gadgets. I mentioned more than once I wanted a cookie scoop...so he went out and got one as part of the present..
...but it was a spring loaded ice cream scoop!! Looks like I'll be making some jumbo cookies!!
& My parents are paying for my much needed passport renewal

The most miserable person in town with the filthiest mouth ever, whom I take to the bank and grocery store once a month bought me a box of chocolates.
This is a woman who calls me mcguber or zoolander every time I see her. I don't know I feel so happy to get chocolates from her. Lol!
P.s. I know chocolates are half off at grocery store.... Pleased anyway!Last edited by vesper; Sat, Dec 29th, 2012 at 08:19 PM.
