I hope that they are not bad quality! I love the boots DH got me from there for Christmas and I would hate for them to fall apart after only a couple wears (I'll have to make sure I hang on to that receipt). I am in the same boat as a lot of you with the "Drag Queen" feet. My boots from there are a 10 (a little too big, but they don't carry 9 1/2 in this boot). i am 5'9 and my normal shoe size is a 9.

Oh my goodness I never thought there would be so many women in size 10 and a half!! Didn't mean to offend anyone, but being a size 7.5 myself those looked huge to me. They actually fit my husband! As for cheking the box the third time, I did. The first time I didn't. My husband bought the boots and didnt check, and when I went to get the new ones on Boxing Day I guess I assumed that being there for a screw up they would be a little more careful..... I guess they weren't. I will always check In the future. Also a little cheezed that their sign said "all boots 30% off" and the ones I bought are literally the only boots in the store not included. Even on their website every pair but mine are on sale, even the exact same boot in grey. I'm rotted by the whole experience.

Another drag queen here! I'm 5'11, have size 11 feet. Finding shoes on sale would be nice, finding shoes at ALL would be wonderful. Shocking how I always wear sneakers!

My dd16 has a size 10 foot as well which she actually likes because none of her friends can borrow her shoes and ruin them, lol.

I try to avoid stores with onerous return policies. My husband isn't as brave as yours to buy me shoes as a surprise; shoes are something I need to try on because I have wide feet.
I know hindsight is 20/20, Jenny...but if your time is important, then the extra two minutes to check the box before you buy (and leave the store) will save you a lot of aggravation later...
