I love that the scale is finally going in the down direction...change in attitude and not letting stress take me..is the way to go!! Hope everyone has a great week:)
Well after 2 really bad weeks I am back on track hopefully lose some of the bloat from eating stuff I should not. Started yesterday, breakfast smoothie(although I am rethinking that strategy after reading a few things), toasted tomato and cucumber sammie for lunch. 3 cups of ginger tea so far today.
Supper will probably be stuffed grape leaves and veggies. My tomatoes are ripening now in the garden I am going to eat some every day along with my cucumbers.
Wondering what it is in my stupid head that makes me go off track? (except for the last 2 weeks being on vacation I mean)
Patty!! I watched the entire film!! ( Fat, Sick and nearly Dead) You were not kidding, that is such an inspiring testimony, no gimmicks at all, they put in the hard work and toughed it out ( the cravings ). So many parts of it I laughed at the people he spoke with. Well, thanks for posting, it really makes me want to try at least 1 Mean Green Juice, just to see if I could do it...oh but NOT for 60 days though, lol.
I am going to watch that movie tomorrow. Too tired at the moment.
Today,
Egg salad, waters, coffee, watermelon...about 2 cups of cubes, a celery slice and a carrot slice with about a tablespoon of blue cheese dip and 8 chicken wings. Not too much exercise, just my usual running around.
Supper was stuffed grape leaves and steamed kale, yellow beans and snow peas from the garden
Today doing a juice fast, kale , lettuce , cucumber , blueberry juice for breakfast and lunch.
Another naughty day. Egg salad, coffee, water....tomatoe cucumber salad.....and now it all goes to sh!t....I had a McCleanse (really a filet, but tomorrow will be the cleanse) and then I had 3 big hand full's of this bag of munchies things that I scored up on sale at Costco and ate on my hour long drive from Cambridge to Brantford, via the LCBO, which brings me to my biggest NO NO....a bottle of White Zinfandel. SHAME!!!!
Oh and no exercise, unless shopping is considered shopping.
Back to school cannot come soon enough!
today I made a pact with a co worker to try Joe's Green reboot juice thingy....we have committed to try to do it for 5 days!!
( starting Monday) I am very nervous and excited to begin this, never ever tried the juice diet before. Just printed off the shopping list and menu of different types to make ( green, orange, red ) I may need over half the fridge space just to place all the produce in there that I will need to do this, lol!! Any advice/tips Patty?
I have been doing it for 2 3 days now but only breakfast and lunch. I find it satisfying and a real energy booster but I don't think I could do it all day, not sure. Maybe I will give it a whirl next week once the kids go back to school.
I am so glad I get the kale, cucumber, lettuce and celery right out of the garden.
I posted this on Feb. 28th and on March 17th I joined a gym. Starting weight was 165 and my weight as of today is 148. March, April, May, and June were slow declining on the scale because I didn't watch what I ate. I just exercised and ate what I wanted, thinking that it'll be enough. July started and I started tracking what I ate using the myfitnesspal app. My plan is to be 145 by the end of the month and then losing 5 pounds each month til the end of the year so that on my 32nd birthday in early January, I'll be 125. That was how much I weighed when my husband and I started dating 10 years ago.
Awesome, good luck . Stick with us at least you will have a few laughs along the way :P
