So. Weigh-in day: NOT as bad as I expected! 18lbs from the weight I was before my fall, which is great considering I've done nothing much besides sitting on my butt since May! :)
After my hair appt at noon, hubby and I went to Target to pick up those 1.89 Smart Ones...I must have picked up 20!! I really enjoyed them with my weight-loss last winter; they really save the day when one is staring into the fridge, uninspired.
Love the Orange Sechwan Chicken: a little heat and nice flavour..lifesavers some days!
And how is everyone else??
I will have to start next week. I forgot lol . I was obsessed with getting to Target to see if 90% was on yet and it was not :(
I weighed myself so I will know for next week.
Down 2lbs- with being on vacation!! Woot woot!
I am maintaining. I am happy with this because I know my boobs and belly are growing so that must mean some other areas are shrinking. :) I take it before the gain comes!!!
Yay...the kids are coming over for a "legal" dinner shortly....a turkey dinner with no gravy, no dressing...just a turkey, boiled candied carrots, cauliflower "mashed potatoes", and a salad...no dessert, but I suspect there will be wine...
DD is, of course, at work again today, catching up on paperwork from the past week..RRSP season again, so she's working her 12-hr days plus Saturdays...anyway, I had emailed her and asked her when she was coming here, and she wrote back, "I don't know...when do you think hell will freeze over? :) )...I emailed her back..."2:30?"...lol...she said more like 3:30-4:00....poor kid...
Hope you're all having a "legal" weekend, too! :)
Oh, that was so fun having them over...!!! We should do this every week!!!
How'r you all doing?
I had wine.
A few glasses of wine.
At least.
I had a very crabby baby today...ate way too many chocolate almonds.. Good news is they r all gone , so I wont have this problem again;)
Turkey dinner sounds wonderful Lynn:)
i have a bunch in the freeze from when they were on sale..I should defrost one!
Aw, sorry you had a crabby baby today, Abby...but hey! NOT a teenager, at least!
The turkey was one if those .97 / lb Walmart, $10 ones before Christmas; we knew we'd be on diets, so we picked one up just to cook up and have on hand. Turns our it was so good, so moist...we all enjoyed it! The "mashed potatoes" (mashed cauliflower recipe) was soooo good! We use that instead of mashed potatoes when we make shepherd's pie and actually prefer it that way.
Wish we had picked up a couple more.
Lol I got 6 turkeys before Christmas at that sale:) used 2 so far:)
the teenager was at his dad's this weekend;)
My mom downsized too. I have her 6 in my freezer too;)
http://www.unique-baby-gear-ideas.co...quotegirl3.jpg...unfortunately our DD and her hubby downsized their freezer, too!
