:blob7:Good work!!!!
Abby.....put that um...behind you....no damage done. I hope!...
This week (since Tuesday), -3.4
Total: 3.4
Ok I am weighed in and surprised that I did not gain anything over the holidays. So I am pretty much starting off on a high note lol. I am exactly where I was at the last weight in for the other thread. Which sucks because I only lost 5 pounds but will put that behind me and keep moving forward.
I missed the first weigh in so I will say I am at par. :P
The ohter day I made scalloped potatoes with white potatoes and sweet potatoes they were pretty good. DH bought a Starfrit mandolin and it works really well. Did layers of each and in between put a really thick layer of pre-sauteed onions. Also added layers of fine herbs, s&P. Added about a cup of water and baked for 45 minutes at 400. I made a sauce with almond milk, garlic, parsley, fine herbs, nutritional yeast and s&p. Thickened it with a bit of cornstarch.
haha double post
Patty...I nearly had a heart-attack when you said "scalloped potatoes", lol, because the version I grew up with and used to make would easily cause one! Thank you for that recipe....I'd love to try it!
And good for you for not gaining over the holidays!! That's like already losing 10lbs in my case! :)
Thank you, Abby...on my way!! :)
no change.....still -38 from the previous challenge....don't know how with all the 'no no' i ate ....chips, chocolate, icecream, cipate...etc...
2 of 7 lbs lost, today will be another holiday eating day so I will have to work hard this week to pay.
so....uh...hi everyone. I have not been exactly good ...yet. Today was the official weigh in start day for me, and I still have not bought a new 9 volt battery for the digital scale, but I know I have put on minimum 10lbs between November and now.
My goal will be to shed that 10 first, then maybe try to tackle the rest ( ? maybe 20 more?) Ok so as of now I am even, no loss no gain on the 10 lb goal
Did I make any sense at all there?
3500 calories = 1 lb gained seems like a lot but 100 calories extra per day means 12 pounds gained in a year. This is why we always ask ourselves how did it creep up on us. :P
Good luck to all of you...I am happy where I am with weight and exercise.
Just a reminder....you need to walk or run a mile to burn 100 calories, but it takes only a few chips or a couple of bites of chocolate to gain them all back.....do try very hard to walk your 10000 steps a day!
Eat clean, lift some weights and do cardio (30min) every day....
 thats bad news eh? kinda counted calories and then forgot but well I need to get a scale and excuses excuses ,I have nothing to brag about but still want to loose weight. Good going everyone and happy Friday.Quote:

Never going to happen with me....only walking when it's not a gazillion below and never all that far...I prefer the philosophy put forward earlier: not eating junk is much easier than exercising!~
Have a great weekend everyone....and weekends aren't an excuse to fall off that wagon...when one of us falls off it puts the whole wagon at a tilt and the rest of us are at risk of falling! Keep that in mind.....
I remembered to buy a new 9 volt battery for
the scale today....Hooray!!

Starting today...weight 212.5 pounds
Yay, Walks!! The first step to a new, svelte YOU!!:blob10:
Hubby was up at very early yesterday morning chopping all the veggies for the WW O-Point soup that we rely on so much. He put everything into our crock-pot, slipped it into the fridge and put it on this morning...omg, the house smelled so good all day! And the soup was fantastic!! I was surprised that one big bowl of that soup and 2 slices of WW bread filled me up so much! And I didn't even have lunch! Any other time it would have been a bowl of soup and half a loaf of fresh rye bread! Now back to the CottonBowl (I think...I get them mixed up) and a big bowl of popcorn and my cheater lemonade!
Have a successful weekend, everyone!!!
YAY for YOU, Curt!! I just left that area...that's not bad at all!!!
We're not that far apart, Hon...I seem to carry it well enough, but I do feel frumpy.
I started at 248lbs last year. See? It happens and omg...it's always the GUYS who
lose weight the fastest!! Always!
Tell me that's not true, Ladies!!! Grr.
Have you picked a program you'd like to follow?
I PM'd you....Have a great weekend, Hon!
great motivation everyone. So from Tuesday I am down 2lbs but I am sure Tuesdays weight was a fright from my yearly OD on take out chinese.
Goal is to lost 12 pounds on WW. I went to the gym today & many does my butt feel it. Saturday we are taking the kids skiing, I suck at it but figure it will burn a few calories and give me some vitamin D.
I'm doing the Curt program which consists of exercise (I have numerous exercise games for the xbox 360/wii and wrote out a schedule for those), eating less, drinking water, cutting back on the pop and sleeping normally (not 10 - 12 hrs).
I was at 207.5 just last week as I had a cold and had hardly any energy and did more sleeping than I already do. My highest was around 223 and I haven't been under 200 pounds since December '08. That's my first target.
You guys are motivated!! I need to get on this train!
I am 151 and need to be under 120 ...need to really work for it:)
No weigh in for me today as yesterday was my first start. Good luck this week everyone!! Going to Spain in May and I would love to rock a two piece bathing suit, although with the nude beaches there I will still look like a prude!!!!
oops, already forgot!! Please send a quick nudge my way if you don't notice me checking in! (thank you Abby!)
anyways, I have to wait until Monday to weigh in (I want to stick to using the same machine but no access to it this weekend) but I am heading to the gym tomorrow! :)
Is Friday weigh in day?
I just weighed in and I'm at 0 (no loss or gain). But that's okay. I went to the movies with DH last night. He leaves Monday morning so it'll be easier to diet while he's off at work.
Morning everyone. Just reading through the posts, and you are all so great. I have faith in each and every one of you that you will all reach your goals :) I'm your cheering section here.....gooooo team....... http://pug.ir/Portals/0/CrossArticle...age46119-6.jpg
When you start exercising be careful, form is everything.
