wonder if it was something I ate?? lol
YOU, Missy, are certifiably NUTS!! http://i43.tower.com/images/mm101024...-cover-art.jpg
So. The scale is still sans batteries, because I was NOT going to pay $13 for 4 of them at Superstore today, so until I get to Canadian Tire, my weight shall remain a big, dark secret.
However! I've stuck rigidly to my diet, am counting calories and listing everything on my Sparkpeople page, and today my jacket (yes, it did get tighter!!) felt looser! So I'm on the right track, sorry no loss to report, but then again, I always put more...ahem...weight on the fact that my clothes got looser and baggier. I'm no where near my smallest jeans I used to fit a few months ago, but I'm on the right track.
Good luck to everyone weighing-in tomorrow!!!!

Up .5 oh well.
Has someone been nibbling those halloween treats to make sure they're fresh? :P....jk...!
Uggg. Less than last week, which was more than the week before.
Haha , you know what's funny about that is yesterday I was cutting open the boxes of chips to put them in big bins so I could put all the boxes in the recycling and 3 bags tore open because they were stuck to the tape in the box and I cut them with the exacto knife lol. Well you know I didn't throw them out :P
no loss on the scale today...... but you know really at 3:30 a.m. perhaps my vision was all blurry at the time. ( NOT, but I wish!)
Enjoy the weekend everyone, we have had one very chilly week here!!
I joined WW with a gf today. Hopefully her and another dear friend can keep me on track.
I bought a yoga mat, a yoga dvd, a pilates dvd and will pray I actually use them instead of sticking them in the back of my closet to collect dust.
I also joined WW (2 weeks ago). I find it pretty easy to follow which helps. I lost 6 pounds last week! :) Hoping for another good week (weigh in is Monday).
No loss, no gain! Room for improvement!
Sorry I missed yesterday folks, I have maintained, which is good as I have been having a hard time with my carb intake. Looking forward to keeping on track and good luck to all in the coming week!
I really don't think that my kitchen scale is accurate. During my pregnancy last year my kitchen scale, Dr's scale, and specialist's scales all disagreed on my weight on a regular basis. My kitchen scale always gave me the lowest number...but that's besides the point. I was quite sick during my pregnancy, so I didn't have baby weight to lose at the end of it. I just don't like the shape of my tummy. I could have afforded to lose a few pounds before I got pregnant. I am 5'10" tall and weight under 200lbs.
Last night I took LO with me in the stroller to go walk the track. I did 4km in 40min. It took me just over 2min to do each lap. There are signs around the track that tell you how many meters are in a lap, how many laps it takes to walk 1km or 1mile. I haven't been walking the track since the weather has been nice (late spring). I often take LO for walks in the stroller to do errands, go to the park, and take a grocery bag with me to collect bottles and cans that are laying on the street. I've made about $25 just off the bottles and cans alone. I love the fresh air and going for walks. Good thing LO loves his stroller too. :) Too bad it is starting to get a little cold outside now. I debate whether to bundle LO up and take him for a walk outside, or drive over and take him for a walk around the track. The library is in the same building, so depending on the time of day...we are able to stop and he can play at the library afterwards.
I found this online last night and wanted to share. I plan on doing it, but I don't know what I will save up towards. I'll put a piece of paper in the jar labeling the start date and I can add ideas for how to spend the money as I think of my different options. I don't tend to spend much money on myself.

I just finished working out with LO in our living room. He weighs 20-21lbs right now. Part of the time I laid on the floor and used him as my weights. He thought it was great. He giggled every time that I sat up while doing a crunch. He tried to climb on me while I did various push-ups, etc. Makes things interesting. But the important thing is that I try and it just makes it all the better that LO is seeing me do it and enjoys himself.
$2 is now in the labeled glass jar on my desk.
Angela, walking is one of the best and cheapest (easiest and safest) exercises to do, so good for you that you have the energy to go out with DS for walks. Good luck on your jar savings!!
Down 2.4 :) Not as good as last week but I didn't expect it to be. Usually I lose about 1 lb per week on WW so this is great! :)
Morning, everyone! Well, I mostly behaved myself this weekend, went for a nice walk with hubby and Jenny along the lake and on the boardwalk, so the wine I had Saturday and Sunday evening, I feel, didn't do a thing to hinder my progress.
Still tracking on Sparkpeople, still going strong,....my new winter jackets from last year when I was smaller FIT this year, although I'd still like them a little looser...clothes fitting better...all around...? Good things are happening!
I'm hoping I don't steal more than one cookie from the monster oatmeal raisin cookies I'll be making for our grandson, and I want to cook up a couple of dinners for 'the kids' since our daughter is working 8-8 all week, poor critter.....
Have a successful day, everyone!!
-8 since last Tuesday.
Oh, I hear you, Luv. I did sneak one of my monster oatmeal raisin cookies I baked for our grandson today: Can I list it under "breakfast"? :) I looked up the calories: 150!! That did the trick: I didn't have another one! :yikes:
i_forget!!! Way to lose my Dear!! Congrats. Lynn I would not mind a breakfast like that too ( monster cookie) lol...I did up plenty of green juice to last till Wed a.m. other than that I am still struggling with my portions of real food.
Picked LO up after work today and headed over to the track to walk laps again. Did 3km in 30min. Another dollar in the jar. I'm still pretty sore from yesterday's at home workout. The track is around the skating rink. It is quite cold in there. LO's hands and feet were cold. Even my hands and ears were cold. Not so sure about it being any warmer there than it currently is outside (excluding the wind). Might have to revise the plan so that LO and I are both warm enough.
Deliriously happy to hear that you're taking in REAL food too, Walks, Honey!

But I'm sure you've done your homework, too....
But...why and how are you struggling with real food?
You're scaring me....:yikes:
