yikesy!! I stepped on my scale today and I am UP a solid 8 lbs from my last " best weight " which was only about.....um.....6 different dine in restaurants, 3 order in and 9 or so late night indulgences ago!?? How is that fair?

......on your mark.....get set.......GO! First one to the cheesecake wins!

ok, all kibitzing aside I will clearly have to restart this. Let the lemon water drinking begin!

Ah, sorry it caught up with you, Walks...believe me, I know how that feels; doesn't it seem like you can cheat just a little every day, and the scale doesn't change, until suddenly, out of the blue, POW!!....8 lbs shows up!! Where was it hiding the other days?! It could have warned you it was going to happen, right??

Well, Slim....errr...Chunky...back on that wagon again...sad, though, isn't it???
We all do it....but remember how far you've come, Hon....just keep it up..I KNOW how determined and dedicated you can be to getting healthy!!

Well today WAS good! Lots of flushing going on here ( water goes in water comes out!) so maybe my November goal is not impossible to reach now.

Walks, of course your November goal isn't out of reach, Hon! You and I, and I bet everyone here, knows the kind of determination you have when you put your pedal to the metal. We do not doubt you for a single minute.
How many pounds are you away from your goal....not that we're going to keep tabs on you or anything like that...heaven forbid!! L'il 'ol us?! We'd never think of it!

Ideally ( and I am lol at the number I'd like to reach....we are talking another 45 lbs. ) but realistically and for clothes wearing satisfaction without getting conceited I'd settle for dropping another 25.
Funny how I am my own worst enemy, that inner critical voice endlessly chatters and chips away my self esteem.

I managed to lose nearly 10lbs, but not in a good way. Trust me, flu bugs and food poisoning is not the way to drop a few lbs.

On the plus side, here`s hoping the brats help me keep off the weight by giving me the I`m-starving-to-death look whenever I eat.

calculations say Sept, Oct and Nov equals 3 full months, or 13 weeks......so safely losing 2 lbs a week that would be ....uh....hmmmm 26 lbs??
So that means I would have to put down this danish right now eh???

Yes, every time we spend so much as a day at my Mom`s, we all have to go on diets (Quincy cat insists on a dozen or so meals a day, sheesh).

Things are getting better, although I`m pretty sure I need another course of antibiotics (have an invasive test on Friday, when I`m proven right in my self-diagnosis, I`ll get my way ).

One of these days, I`ll get on the bandwagon with everyone else and behave.
