Ok so while I have been putting off dishes, unpacking & cleaning the bedrooms DD has destroyed the living room so basically now I have to clean every room in my apartment preferably before hubby gets home, sigh

Can soneobe tell me why my doctor's office called me at noon asking me to come kn early for my 2:40 appointment. I out down the shopping and drove from Mississauga to Ahax (not the closest trip) and have been sitting here for almost an hour now. It's 3:06. If I didn't really need to see her to get my prescription refilled, I would have walked out by now.

LOL Bluz we aren't flat, unless you are talking southern Alberta, then it just looks flat, but be careful not to fall into a gorge :D Saskatchewan is what I call flat, that place your dog runs away and you can still see it 3 days later. At least that is what my poor Saskatchewan mother says

Everytime Cowgirlmama posts a picture of her Bear, I keep meaning to post a pic of my baby, Smudge. It's hard to get a descent picture of a black animal. She is 18 years old this year, and seems so be feeling it lately (except at 1 am in the morning when I hear her tearing around the livingroom......

Smudge is adorable!!! I love black cats, but ya, the problem is trying to get a good picture or when they are sleeping on a black couch and you sit on them, or in the middle of the night and they can hide in the middle of the hallway and trip you :D

She was beautiful. She reminds me of our boy Jack. Jack is kinda a funny cat he is overshadowed by the pugs and our big fat cat who thinks he is a dog. Jack only really loves my DS, he just follows him everywhere he even has a special pillow on my sons bed and right before bed he stands at the top of the stairs making this meow thats sounds like " MITCHELLLLLLLL time for bed" lol. He got his name very interestingly initially when I got him the kids were young so the story I told was that because when I found him the only thin I had to bring him home in was a box thus "Jack " in the box. The real story is that because the only thing I had was the box I placed this little Kitten in this box and folded the flap over each other and place it on the floor of my truck. I was drivng home down a country road frequented by major transport trucks. As i was heading home doing 100 with 2 rigs on my butt this kitten pops his head out the flaps and starts hanging him self. I freak gunn the engine so I can make a quick turn into a farmers drive way all the while screaming OMG you little Jack A$$. The cat survived and by the time we got home his name was Jack.

hahahaha. hilarious story.

Oh gosh Alberta sounds really bad Cougar, Bears, lightning and Aliens OH MY!!!!!

if it's a stop on the road trip, I'll go to alberta, aliens and all!

yyyyaaaayyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!! i now have a happy baby. managed to get him to sleep for a while and he is awake, filled his pants and is as happy as can be now. while he slept i managed to make myself lunch, made butterscotch drops, and supper for tonite and another nite (one recipe split in two, half for tonite and then froze half)

Rant time - half way through doing dishes my hot water tap stopped working (it turns round & round but no water comes out). So went to talk to my landlady, besides taking 5 mins to answer the door (I could hear her on the other side but I think she was hoping I would go away), when I told her the problem she said 'its not her problem' and slammed the door in my face! Ummmmm.....last time I check it is her problem.
