I just wanted to share an experience that happened to a friend of mine with everyone, it is shocking and horrible!!!!
This is what her status read: "So, I bought some gift certificates to Central Nails in St. Vital Center, and gave them out as presents. I gave one to my adopted mom(Dot), and they said they wouldn't give her a pedicure, because she is in a wheelchair!They then pointed to a sign that says, Walk-ins welcome. She had to walk in to get her pedicure!!! She then asked for her money back, so she could go elsewhere, and they said they don't do refunds!! I am shocked, and appalled at this business, not to mention embarassed!!"... Everyone should share this so something can be done!!!

I hope this is not true and that this is some misunderstanding..

So ridiculous it's funny... imagine the staff not understanding what "Walk-ins welcome" really means. I imagine this salon won't be in business for long.

Surely it's illegal to deny service to someone in a wheelchair.

i saw this on the Global news last night. They will definately hurt because of this. I know i will not go there.
