more cool insights - example - african americans have higher incidence of hypertension that africans. postulated explanation - africans that were transpored to north america as slaves had a very high mortality rate during their journey. levitt suggests that those individuals who retained salt were more likely to survive the trip. since salt retention is related to hypertension, those individuals were also more likely to be hypertensive.

Lying in wait on my bedside table is the newest Janet Evanovich "Top Secret Twenty One". If you have never read any of this series you gotta give them a try-sooo funny but also a mystery/thriller. The characters are hilarious!
