Just finished the last Mo Hayder I had not read, ironically it is her first book, titled "Birdman". Pretty good. certainly a page turner...
The Swallows of Kabul, did not like the story.
It's interesting because the goodreads write up said it was her darkest and most chilling..... neither of those things applied really. It was your average Kinsey novel. She had three things on the go, which is pretty normal for her. And while she did come in contact with a serial killer, she's been through worse situations. Kinsey is always a 4/5 for me.
Just finished Max. Great book. Now I need to see the movie!
A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson
Some parts were hilarious and parts slow but enjoyable.
^^ I liked a Walk in the Woods. GOTT -- I found the main character a bit infuriating at times though :-)I honestly didn't get what the bit hoopla was about the book.
Just finished Outrage by John Sandford....interesting storyline....experimental transplants.. Quite a switch from his Prey and Flowers signature books and apparently geared towards Youth Adults, but I liked it.
Up next The Murder House by James Patterson.
the crossing - michael connolly
