Just listened to Alan Cummings "Not my Fathers Son". It was really good. I am on an audiobook kick while on vacation. Now onto "into the wild".
Going through the Whole30 Cookbook because I just wanted to know what that program is (an elimination diet for 30 days) and to look for other ways to make dishes.
Am almost done reading The Economists' Diet because the authors were formerly overweight and decided to apply economic principles to their weight loss efforts. Gail Vaz Oxlade would agree with them about humans' tendency to spend for things now and not plan ahead for future costs/savings.
Leafed through the My Lisbon cookbook by Nuno Mendes. Part of my "reading on Portugal" given that Lisbon hosted this year's Eurovision song contest in May. Copied a roast chicken dish for that one day I will have all ingredients to give the recipe a try.

A very quick, fast paced read - ended a bit incomplete in my opinion, but then it was made into a movie :)

Quite an enjoyable read.
