Happened to spot this interview with local Hamiltonian (I recognize him from HSR-now he's retired) who wrote a children's fiction book about cancer. He wanted to write a story that helps kids process the terms used in cancer care.

I had to ask her to leave it on the coffee table last night when we went to bed...she would have stayed up all night reading it otherwise!
