every weekend. Saw them all as a kid yet I remember maybe 10% while at the same time I can remember seeing all the Twilight Zone episodes.
not having to fake forgetting things anymore.
Ewwww... Bob! You're not making this transition to old age easy, are you??!!!
Let's try a shift in perspective...
1. You don’t have to care about fashion, but if you want to, you have decades of styles to choose from
.2. You’ve had a long time to learn to just be yourself.
3. You know that one gray hair is no big deal.
4. You don’t have to care what other people think about you
.5. People expect you to be somewhat eccentric, so go ahead.
6. People will ask your advice
.7. You haven’t died before your time or been cut down in your prime
.8. You’ve had a lot of experiences.
9. Some people will think you’re wise, and you might actually have some wisdom.
10. You’re no longer expected to pick up the check.
11. Most likely, you have a better understanding of people than you had when younger.
12. You can ignore fads, because you’ve seen them come and go and come back again.
13. You understand what’s it’s like to be every age you’ve been, if you make an effort to remember.
14. People offer you help more often
15. You’ve witnessed things that younger people have only heard about.
16. You know that it’s really not important to rush.
17. You’ve learned to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. (If you haven’t, you probably will when you retire and can’t afford the complicated things in life.)
18. Everyone ten or more years younger than you looks fantastic.
19. You know what you want to be when you grow up.
20. People give up their seats for you.
21. Your children are grown and you know how they turned out.
22. You’ve learned a lot about yourself.
23. You know that one wrinkle is no big deal.
24. You have a lot of great memories and are making more every day.
25. You no longer feel the need to be thought of as cool. What you are is enough.
AND # 25 SAYS IT ALL!!!! "WHAT YOU ARE IS ENOUGH."
You can give awards to neighbours who cut down trees at 7:15 on a Sunday Morning & yell at their friends over the clammer of a chainsaw. Oh yes, drinking beer while cutting down trees is a must....yikes!

Another week of summer finds July blooming in the way that it should,
Remember that warm weather basking can do your heart good,
Some people do not like it when the humidity is climbing higher as we speak,
But, I say it's a nice way to start off the week,
Don't go doing anything considered to be an over-exertion,
Then a dip in a pool is a refreshing immersion!
Enjoy this Monday & stay hydrated with plenty of water,
It's just another day to record on your summertime blotter.
