Sometimes you just gotta ask yourself what the heck is next?
As we all know that we mustn't drive & text...
You all know that I usually try my darndest to just behave,
But you know I love a man who is sporting a nice close shave,
A splash of Old Spice or Hai Karate & there will be no sting,
In fact I like to call it aromatic bling!
It might be best if you parked your car while achieving this look,
& set your electronic devices to right off the hook,
Always try to look your best as it is such a groovy persona,
& soon we can get together & share a corona.

August 18th is Bad Poetry Day........... I qualify!!!

At long last I have discovered a day that is custom made just for me,
Cause I know not all of my rhymes qualify for outstanding po-et-try,
I take inspiration for real life events & the words, they sort of amble,
& most of you on here already know that I do tend to ramble,
We've had things happen that remind us that life is - but one kick at the can,
Certainly those curves that come up do not always go according to plan,
I've written poems about dogs & I've written poems about cats,
I've talked about the Blue Jays & what is wrong with their bats,
Sports, refrigerators, flooring & windows & I've talked about them too,
& if it was your birthday, I may have written a poem just for you,
I've written poems in question form & even received some answers,
I've written poems about rock stars & even ballet dancers,
I've banned people on our banned their without reason or cause,
I've written poems on subjects I value & I hope that I made you pause,
I've written poems about food & drink & maybe sharing a meal with you all,
I've written poems of commemoration & even a SC Party Hall,
I've written poems about my boys who are incredible young men,
If I had the option to be a Mom, I would do all of it again,
I've written poems about my parents who had values beyond standard,
I've written poems about pathways & the directions that we've meandered,
Poems about nothing & poems about something I do hope I've made you all smile,
You see my words are just an expression of what makes me tick on that Silly Loocie dial.
