Wondering if she was in the storm area which was on the news yesterday? Some areas had power knocked out...
Good Morning everyone. Sorry for not posting anything yesterday, but I was very busy, and then so exhausted that I just fell asleep after making dh some dinner and walking Marley. I sent a pm to Lynn, so I just copied parts of it to the pet section to update on Maggie. Hope everyone has a fabulous day :)

omg I'm such a sucker:shrug: this tiny little dog comes into our lives when we least expect it and turns everything upside down and inside out  and I love her. What the hell is wrong with me :icon_scratch:? Anyway, surgery went well, they removed a piece of her intestine, seems she ate something that tore tiny whole in her intestine, and that festered for a bit and has caused all the issues, including the spider bite not healing. The small amount of venom (the vet said it should have been an issue at all) kept seeping out of the rip. She does like to put everything into her mouth that's for sure, She is doing better and hopefully I'll be able to bring her home tomorrow if all is well. I'm still really upset because they wanted to just put her down, they said "It will be cheaper!" I HATE people like that  I don't really care what the vet bill will be, I just need her back with us. There is so much sadness in the world and so many sick people in our park (several people are dealing with different types of cancer), and this tiny girl has brought smiles to the faces of many of these people. Everyone has been coming over and asking how she is doing. Lindi, I can't believe that these people, many of them I don't even know very well, got together and gave money to help with her vet bill. She is a well know celebrity in the park, everyone laughs at her as she waddles along behind Marley, barking and squeaking, and carrying flower petals in her mouth :-) Cindy (a lady that is leaving on Friday) brought dh a shopping bag full of dog clothes yesterday, she said her dog had outgrown them and she thought they would look cute on Maggie. Dh was on his game and was able to get her email address so we could send her some pictures of Maggie in the outfits. I would never have thought of that, I'm not sure where I lost my mind, but I hope I find it soon . I hope you don't mind, I'm going to just copy and paste parts of this for an update on Marley. I'm terrible, I don't feel like doing anything, I just want the rest of my family back home, I'm soooo sad :bawling: I can't believe that having this tiny dog for a few weeks can bring me to my knees. Yes Lindi, she is a true Doxi, I look into those tiny eyes, she just wants to crawl up near my neck, she lays her tiny head there and sleeps. OH GOD HOW I MISS HER :sweet: http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/members...-new-puppy.jpg
thanks so much holly for letting us know the great news! You sound exhausted but relieved. Many people would not have bothered with the surgery for financial reasons, but thank goodness Maggie caught your blessed eye that day.

So glad to hear that she's doing better. Blessings....
This is such terrific news! Thank-you to all who have been sending those "vibes" to Holly, dh, Maggie and Marley. See how a tiny pebble in a pond can send wonderful ripples so very far and wide. What a god-send this little creature has been! Even the horrible man who sold her has played his part in putting her where she needs to be! Heal quickly, Maggie! All us folks need to see your impish face!
So happy to hear Maggie is ok. She has touched so many lives.
