Such wonderful news, Holly....unbelievable what Marley did, hauling Maggie onto the back of the sofa, then watching over her!
Regarding those wee parcels she leaves....just put one on the puppy-pad to leave the scent behind for a while or just leave it there until she has to 'go' again...she'll get the idea. That's what we had to do with Jenny. Of course, lol....she'd often have her front paws and 1/2 of her on the pad, but the other end was still out of bounds of the paper! Dachshunds...honestly! ;)
Good luck at the vet's tomorrow...we're all keeping your little honey in our thoughts....
So happy to hear the update!!! COME ON MAGGIE all of SC is cheering for you!
I just so impressed by the story of Marley helping her up to the "post" at the top of the couch! He might have to do that FOREVER if she has the tiny legs of a daschund!!! Good luck tomorrow! All the best!
You just wait. . . . after she gets rid of those worms and parasites, she won't be
Maggie - May. . . .she'll be little
Maggie-Mayhem!! just like every puppy should be!!! :)
We took Marley for a walk yesterday, and since the sun was shining and it was really warm, we took Maggie too. We just put her on the road and she ran, and tagged along behind Marley for almost half a block :) She stopped and pooped on the grass.....I was very impressed, just like a proud mom. We then picked her up and carried her the rest of the way. When we got back to the rv, she ate, then slept for about 3 hours, lol. Today is the day she goes to the vets, and our fingers are crossed that we can get meds to fix absolutely everything that is wrong with her. My worst fears are heartworm as she is so tiny, they can't give meds to her for that and the outcome is not good. She IS as fighter thought, and lots of love, and warmth and food have brought her a long, long way. She has done almost a complete 180 from where she was when we brought her home last Saturday. And WOB...I'm a proud momma, she pee's on the pads and has for the past 3 days, she soooo intelligent :) As for her poop's last night, well more like 2:30 am I fed her, then put her on her paper and told her to go pee. She peed, then walked around for a minute or so and came back to the same pad and pooped!!!! Listen to me, just like a proud momma
Good morning, proud Momma!! :)
I can't wait to hear what the vet says and does for wee Maggie!!

Oh, Holly! I'm feeling for you! I think that you would have shared good news with us by now! Saying prayers for everyone!
If it was good news, Holly would have rushed to tell us.....her absence is very disturbing and sad....I'm fearing the worst....thoughts and prayers for all wee creatures and their families.....
Thinking of you Holly. . .sending positive thoughts your way. We're all worried about you.
