Ack. Was all prepared to do this. Was going to buy a formula refill and use my $20 coupon (got from a complaint), but it's on sale at the grocery store for almost $10 off. I can't justify spending an extra $10 on formula just to participate.

Blonde moment. I totally thought you were asking a different question!
I've done that lots of times and it has always worked. The cashier has always told me it won't, but it always has. I make no guarantees, but in the past, it's always worked for me, no problem.

The order you do it in doesn't matter. The only advantage of doing it that way is you are sure you are over $75. I've gotten to the cash before and something has unexpectedly rung up on sale. So if you are at $75 exactly and then something ring up on sale, you are sunk unless you add something.
I do find it easier to hand the $10 coupon at the end though, since it's "payment" but the order you present coupons in doesn't matter.

Are you sure about the extra 16000 bp when you spend over 100? last time this happened I had a coupon and used it and it worked? I was hoping to try again today

You get 18,500 bonus points PLUS your base points. If you spend exactly $75.00 before tax, you would receive 18,500 + 750 = 19,250 points. I did this today so I know it works. (I used lots of coupons so my out-of-pocket expense was $40.00 but I still received the bonus points.)
If you spend more than $75.00, your base points would be higher but your 18,500 bonus points would remain the same.
Ideally, with this promo, you want to be just a tad over $75.00 for maximum benefit.
I hope that helps!Last edited by lotsasavings; Sat, Jan 19th, 2013 at 04:10 PM.
