Agreed with salady. You need to print out the entire email <- they almost turned me away because I didn't print the entire email (thank goodness for smartphones), but when my sibling did it she got the freebie (at another location).

I didn't get mine, even though I registered the first day of this promo. I guess it got blocked by my anti-spam. I sent an e-mail to [email protected] with my name and e-mail address that I registered under. They responded immediately with an apology, confirmed that I'm in their database and sent me a unique coupon code (that was originally in the mail). I'm supposed to show the e-mail with a code to their rep in the store. Great customer service!

On their facebook page there are many complaints, a lot of people didn't received the email either but nobody from L'Occitane is there to respond to the ones complaining.

I did not receive the email and wrote to them as well. It takes a few days to get a response because I'm sure they are flooded with these types of emails. But for those of you who did not get the email, write to them and you should get this type of a response:

Thank you for writing to us and we're sorry you didn't receive your email.

To redeem your free hand cream:

1. You can provide the email address you used upon completing your Facebook request form to one of our L'OCCITANE associates and they should find your info in our records

OR

2. You can provide them with this unique code that was included in your email: XXXXXX

Please note that this code is unique to you and once it's been activated, you will not be able to use it again.
And don't forget that you also get 15% off if you decide to purchase something when you redeem your free sample!

If however you didn't get the email and are close to a boutique, hop in and see if your name is on the list and you might get lucky. This is definitely a great freebie worth fighting for even if it takes a little leg work.
