Calgary is a balmy -5 degrees right now. Was much colder yesterday though I didn't even put my nose outside.
The days are getting brighter. In December 5 PM looked like 9 PM in the summer.
Now you can see stuff at 5 PM.:icon_sunny:
The last few weeks haven't really felt like Winter, more like Spring but today sure feels like Winter. It's freezing out there!!!

I was there about 7 years ago for New Year's. NEVER EVER AGAIN! Holy freezing cold batman! And snow! Geesh!
The ski slopes guys and gals are happy.
Peterborough schools are offering a phys ed credit - skiing and snow boarding. We never had that offer in school:sad:

BUT...we are so lucky here in SW Ontario because this is really the first major bout of winter we've had all season. ;)
