Have to say thanks to everyone for their help with my brown sugar problem as it is soft and useable once again.

My sobeys rarely if ever has anything. Maybe like 1-3 pads when Metro will have triple that amount. I also find that our Sobeys often doesn't get the "new" tearpads until a week or two after Metro.

I know that I do!! I find them randomly through my freezers (upper and deep). I also buy older lemons and freeze for things like lemon loaf.

Dh kind blew the budget for Valentines day- but I can't be mad at him at all. He took off work early, set my son up for daycare for the afternoon (he only goes on Monday) and took me out to see an afternoon movie- 3D- no less! It was great! We haven't been on a date for ALONG time!

All that to say... I am following your freezer lead gourmetsue and I am digging deep into the freezer and making: banana muffins ! (amongst other things! I have small gathering this Sunday that I have to make treats for!

ROAK a Huggies or Pampers code to my local pregnancy centre- toys, clothes, food & diapers always needed!

Dug out a roast and it has been cooking away in the oven for dinner at the in laws tonight. Also pulled out enough bananas to make a huge batch of mini banana chocolate chip muffins. Seems counter productive but they'll go back in the freezer when done, but they'll be ready when my uncle visits for 3 weeks!

I was at Food Basics this afternoon. They had Becel margerine on for $3.99. I got 6 Buttery Taste, had $1 coupons so $2.99 A lady in front of me had just picked up 2. I offered her coupons for them as I had lots and got a snotty no. No skin off my nose but I can`t believe people would rather pay more than they have to.
