I had some minor issues this week with this app. It won't let me check in to a few places but luckily for me I work close to a supermarket and when I park my car to go into work I can check in without being in the store. So far I am liking this app.

Yes but if you scanned the product today you can't scan it again tomorrow.

They are still working out the location issues, in the meantime if you have issues you can email them with the details of the location you are having issues at so that they can look into it.

For some reason the app only has two stores in my community that I can "check into." My only options are WM and Sobeys. We also have No Frills and CO-OP. I'd like if they added these to the options.

I scanned and reviewed a couple more bonus items today. Too bad Sobeys does not sell over half the bonus point items. I am already up to 285pts and I already cashed out 1,300 on the weekend. All this in a week, without using the app on a daily basis. Here's hoping my gc arrives quickly.

So I joined. I find that this is a great app, if you have an iphone. I only have an itouch so it isn't as easy as you have to be at a store with wifi to check in or get any of the bonus items. (I don't have any in my stockpile.) Plus, maybe it is just me but my itouch takes forever to scan things. It just doesn't "pick it up" right away. I will still use it but I can't seem me getting to the min 750 points anytime soon.

i am just using an Ipod as well, some days it works like a charm and other days it takes forever to scan. I find if I scan my at home product near a window with natural light it works faster! Hurry up day light savings time!!!

How do some people get the 150 referral codes? From what I can see on my account, my referrals only get 50....

You are correct.

Freshpoints sent people confirmation emails (usually after that person did their redemption) saying that they would get 150pts each for each referral, but it's a mistake, and they were supposed to change their emails to reflect that it's really only 50 for using the name. Madeline said it looks like the email wasn't updated as yet. They were working on changing that.

So people think that they are going to receive 150pts for using referral codes but they won't, they receive 150 indeed but they have to answer two other questions when they sign up and thats what gets them to the 150.

As a referrer you will only earn 50 for them using your name.

Um, did they change something? I used to be able to scan the same items every day. Tonight I scanned several items, all of them said I already got points for scanning this item this week.

You can scan an item only once, this what I've experienced since using the app for about a week. You'll see a pop up saying you've already scanned that particular item.
