Thanks I downloaded it tonight and just by scanning stuff in my stockpile I have 527pts
Yes, its frustrating that the developers aren't offering a version for android, or even windows. In fact, methinks that if all you need is the ability to scan and upload, then these don't really need to be mobile apps at all.
At any rate, if either Freshpoints or Checkout51 want me as a customer, they are going to have to make a non-iOS version, because we are not going to be getting any iThingys in this household anytime soon.
Can i use freshpoints if i live in Quebec?
Developers start with the highest market shares first, so that they get there app out there and known first before spending a lot of money on a platform very little use. Android versions should be coming out very soon since they have an almost equal share of mobile phones as apple. However I doubt we will ever see a windows version of these apps or even blackberry since there market share is almost nothing at the moment.
I downloaded this for my iPod Touch, but it doesn't seem to be working. When I try to scan something, nothing happens. Maybe it's only for iPhones.
I just scanned all my items and earned 888 points. I'm going to hold out on redemption to earn something larger than just a $5 giftcard that I'm already eligible to earn. My husband thinks I'm nuts but it was fun!
This is quite interesting. I have an iPhone and am already using Checkout51, so I might add this too. I think I'll google to see what other info I can find about it.
I found this while doing some research.
edit: sorry, I didn't know.
