Got my Ipod :)

So Last week I started looking for a newer Ipod so I could start useing the new apps that I cant get on my old one. I didnt wanna buy it new though as I only need it for a few apps. I looked at all the hawk shops in my town and did some browseing online and found no great deals. They actually want like 60 bucks for one with a cracked screen on ebay plus 20 to ship it lol. So I posted an add on kijiji and 2 hours later get an email from someone with pics of a ipod touch 4 in great shape with a nice case. They were asking 100 but said they would take 75 for a quick sale and deliver it as they work in town. I am so so happy and cant wait to use chechout 51 and hubby is thrilled to have my old ipod since most of his music is on it any way lol . Just had to share Im so excited I have a reciept for cheese strings ready to go for checkout 51 tomorrow lol.

How does Ipod work with apps? I thought only Iphones would work for stuff like that? I am so not phone/te ch savvy. Would an Iphone not on a network work? I have an Iphone but ditched the company I had a contract with.

Hi, the ipod works the same as an iphone. Youhave to go to the "app store" and then search for checkout 51 and download it. If you are still having trouble, please inbox me and I would be glad to walk you through it.

Im not to sure if it needs to be on a network or not I dont know much about the iphones. I think the ipod touch is pretty much the same as the iphone only you cant make calls with it. Im not very tech savvy either lol

iPod Touch works exactly like an iPhone except you use it with your Wifi network instead of a data plan like a phone. You can't call, etc.

jeepers creepers my 2 boys have these ipod touch sitting around collecting dust, well I guess I will check this out and see if I can get checkout 51

Checkout 51 along with most apps do not require a Cell network connection, all you need is wifi and your good to go. So as long as you have wifi connection you don't need a cell contract to use internet/data apps

You could download the app on each ipod touch and as long as you buy stuff on separate receipts , get reimbursed twice

Actually; and this is a bit off topic; you CAN make calls and text with an iPod Touch!

There are two apps that I like to use called TextPlus that is free texting anywhere and with any number
or I just use iMessage for friends that have Apple products {iPad, iPhone, iPod}

and Magic Jack for free calls! You don't even need to make an account to use it! All you need is a pair of headphones {with microphone if you don't have a newer iPod that has a mic in it }
