So, my beautiful province BC, has been wishing wistfully for years to have a family day holiday. We didn't have on for the LONGEST time.

Then finally our premier granted us Family Day, (YAY), BUT not the same day as the rest of the country (WTF?!?). It was LAST Monday, on the 11th. So none of the specials apply to us because my daughter had to go to school today and there was nothing on special last Monday, LOL. At least I can do some online shopping, LOL. What gives?

I shouldn't complain, a day off is a day off.

On the bright side, I'm feeling SOOO much better. Wowee. I don't think I'd wish this illness upon my worst enemy. Seriously.

I'm in the lower mainland, so maybe a different political climate than the interior, but over here people say it's so she (premier) can get the Chinese vote. Apparently by doing Family Day one week earlier, it's closer to Chinese New Year? I don't get it - I thought Chinese New Year's date changed year to year. But that's what our pundit are saying, LOL.

I think it's because she doesn't want us to play with the rest of the country, LOL.

I got some save $2 WUB 2 Country harvest bread, on fresh produce. Which was a little weird. Save $1 on 2 wonder bread. Some Lean Cuisine fresh something or other, a couple Splenda booklets with $1 off and only 1 aylmer booklet, with a coupon I haven't even had a chance to look at yet lol.
