I met a fellow SC'r today....dealbreakers! She's like 15 mins away from where I'm staying. Her son is 9ish months old and he and Alexa had a fun little playdate (as far as drooling babies go)...She hasn't really been on SC for a long time...apparently couponing's been known to get a little crazy in the area (due to people trying to 'stretch' the stacking rules, take entire tearpads etc) so she stopped for the most part and now cross border shops. Sad

Pumpkin - we're on! Alexa needs to play with some big girls - she keeps having these play dates with 'older boys'...daddy's gonna have a heart attack one day I reckon! Julesie-pie's daughter is a little too old for Alexa so far I think...she's way past the 'drooling and staring' phase, although she did read Alexa her favourite stories the first time they met

Pam, I now wish I had boys, DH is already having 50 fits about our girls and they are only 9 and 12. Even though our oldest could lay a whopping on any of the boys with one arm tied behind her back, he is not very accepting of her hitting puberty.

Alexa & Maile should play together you're in Mississauga now right? We're planning to move there and frequent Square One all the time! If you're ever in Toronto on a Sunday morning... Only Maile & I at home bored as usual You're more than welcome to drop by for a play date for the girls Maile has so much toys and such a big play area it's like a daycare in my living room!

No passport for Alexa yet I filled out the application last month for her and then found out I needed to get the 'long form' birth certificate for her (the requirement changed Oct 1, 2012...she was born Oct 17 so obviously I didn't get an application in before that deadline. FAIL). And I didn't think to check out the passport application requirements when I ordered her short birth certificate in October. So, I've basically wasted $25 on the short one, and received the 'long form' just before we left. Note to anyone birthing in the near future...save your $25 and just order the long form for $35 cause you'll have to get it eventually if they want a passport. End of annoyance.

I'm just bummed because I really wanna go to Seattle!

same thing happened for us too.......only i really needed Devin's birth cert so ended up spending 65 bucks to get it rushed out!
