Well, I hope I can explain this one - happened a lot yesterday, and sometimes today.

Sometimes when I post a reply - length, pics, vids, etc. - doesn't matter what it is - when I hit reply, it asks if I want to stay on that page or not.
Well, I don't want to lose what I posted, but if I hit yes, I just get that message again - I've tried to go preview or advanced, that doesn't seem to make a difference.

There have been times when my post has been totally lost.
There have been other times when my post has been posted BEFORE the previous posting which was already done.
Or, there are times there is nothing there, but when I go back to a main section, then back to the thread, my post is there.

I have no idea why that happens but it also has happened to me in the past, and I was ticked that I lost what was typed, so the next time it happened I copied what was typed and then I clicked " leave page " , then I went right back to the thread and simply pasted my reply in.

I have been doing that as well, when I can, but we should not have to.

I have this happen on other forums too, I think the page just times out or something. Do you find it happens more if you are replying twice in the same thread? It is a common problem

i thought it was just happening when i was posting more than once in the same thread in the game room but it happened on the q 107 thread. my post appeared above the post i was responding to and the time stamp showed my post as preceding that post.

it's really frustrating. it's happened before and it was corrected.
it seems to have started when the problem of getting the "This forum requires that you wait 5 seconds between posts. Please try again in 109 seconds." message was corrected.

hell, i still can't seem to remember how to post vids,
getting very tiresome, between here and there, to not
be able to just put the info into a link, and be done.

madchives, copy the URL from the You Tube video, come to the page where you want to post, hit the Insert Video icon, paste in the url, and press OK. I use control c to copy and control v to paste.
